THE COMPANY
Viewabo helps customer support agents at corporations resolve their customer's problems significantly faster than traditional remote methods (i.e. phone, email, chat) by using real-time video streamed from customer smartphones to the support agent's help desk system without requiring customers to download an app. We also enable support agents to annotate on the customer’s video stream in real-time to help guide them on issue resolution.
The problem is that remote support agents are essentially blind. They cannot see what their customers see, which makes it difficult to 1. Diagnose problems correctly, 2. Guide customers on resolution steps, 3. Verify customers performed resolution steps properly. This causes long support times and increased customer frustration.
The solution is to give support agents the power of sight. Viewabo provides support agents with the ability to see through their customer's eyes via their smartphone cameras. This makes it significantly faster to resolve issues. Our mission is to give customer support agents the ability to provide remote support that's better than in-person support. We are an angel-funded startup currently operating in stealth and working closely with corporate customers. Join us in building the future.
COMPENSATION

REQUIREMENTS
- Mastery of Ruby (and Rails), JavaScript (we use Vue.js), and SQL (beyond ORMs) in high-scale production environments.
- English language skills, both written and verbal. We’re building a global team, so you’ll need to be able to discuss complex technical solutions and communicate with people in different geographies.
- Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution. You should have the ability to diagnose and prevent performance and optimization problems.
- Leadership and teamwork. You need to be able to work well in a team, be self-motivated, and lead projects with a positive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Proactive and independent thinking. You need to be able to help push the company forward while working with limited information. Propose solutions without being asked.
- Computer Science education or equivalent experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build: Develop features in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
- Craft: Create clean, concise, and maintainable code for a high-scale web environment.
- Ship: Confidently ship features and improvements with minimal guidance and support.
- Lead: Take proactive action to move projects and the company forward towards goals.

- Maintain: Keep to high standards in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while solving technical problems of high scope and complexity.
